Anupama 3rd December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Rahi questioning Anupama about why she feels the need to spread her greatness to everyone. She asks why they continue to work even though she told them not to do overtime. Anupama responds that they have the “housewife syndrome” just like her. She explains that housewives check everything around the house before going to sleep last and waking up early, and if any mistake occurs, the business could be ruined. Rahi tells her to leave or else she’ll miss her train, so she can have some peace. Anupama advises her to have some Misri and speak sweetly. As Anupama leaves, the glass breaks. Janki behen watches quietly.
Ansh’s friends arrive for his birthday party. Baa says that all the guys in their family are handsome and they must have inherited it from her. She jokes that the girls are looking at her. Pakhi teases Baa about the boys smiling at Ishu. Baa laughs and says she will break their teeth. Ansh asks his friends who they are, and one of them responds that they are his cousins and says they brought them along, asking if it’s a problem. Ansh says they are family. Mahi, Pari, and Ishu wish him a happy birthday. Prem serves donuts, and Mahi exclaims that it’s her favorite. Prem explains that they already had cake yesterday, so he made sugar-free mini donuts. He offers her a bite, calling her caring. Rahi then enters, making a sound of disapproval. She asks Mahi to make whatever she wants for Ansh and tells Prem to go and make the marriage order. He says he can handle both tasks, but Rahi insists that he is only her employee, not the Shahs’. He jokes that she should try him. Rahi refuses and walks away. Mahi notices Prem’s frustration and offers to eat the donut, smiling as he feeds it to her.
Rahi instructs that the food must be ready by 9 am tomorrow. Janki says it’s their responsibility to prepare the food, but it’s Rahi’s responsibility to deliver it. Toshu offers to book a tempo. Rahi asks for the number and says she’ll personally deliver the order. Jigna asks if she can leave, as her husband is unwell. Toshu accuses her of always making excuses. Rahi denies her request to leave, telling her to get back to work. Janki behen mentions that if Anupama were here, she would have let Jigna go. Rahi says she is not Anupama and tells her to return to work.
Prem brings snacks and juices. Ansh looks at him gratefully. Everyone enjoys the treats and dances while music plays. Ansh walks with a juice glass on his head, and when the juice spills, Prem catches the glass and hands it back to him. Everyone tries walking with glasses on their heads, but one of Ansh’s friends’ cousins purposefully spills juice on Mahi. He apologizes to Mahi and Ansh. Mahi heads off to clean the stain. Baa looks on disapprovingly.
Mahi cleans her dress, and the guy approaches, offering to clean it for her. She refuses, but he insists, grabbing her hand. Prem rushes over and twists his arm, making the guy shout in pain. His friend asks if Prem is trying to be a hero. Prem replies that he is helping the hero, adding that not all heroes are men—sometimes it’s the women who are the true heroes. The guy challenges Prem, but Prem twists his other arm. The guy asks why Prem is overreacting, questioning if Mahi is his girlfriend. Prem confirms, saying, “Yes, and if you touch her again, I’ll pluck out your eyes.” Ansh’s friend arrives, and Prem explains that the guys were misbehaving with Mahi. Ansh’s friend asks them to apologize and leave, as Mahi is like a sister to him. He requests Prem not to tell Ansh. Mahi is happy to hear Prem call her his girlfriend.
Rahi arrives at the cloud kitchen and notices Jigna is missing. Janki behen explains that Jigna had to take her sick husband to the hospital. Rahi says Jigna should have asked a neighbor for help and argues with Janki behen, telling them to stay up all night and complete the order by 9 am. Janki behen remarks that Rahi is not like Anupama. Rahi insists she doesn’t want to be like Anupama.
Ansh cuts his birthday cake while everyone sings “Happy Birthday.” Baa says she will have cake first because she’s the cutest. Ansh insists she have the first piece. Mahi feeds cake to Prem, teasing him about making donuts when everyone was expecting cake. Prem says it was a surprise. Pari encourages everyone to move the things and get ready to dance. Rahi arrives home and complains about Janki behen’s attitude. She scolds Prem for still being at the party instead of working. Prem says he’ll come right away. Rahi demands he pick up the masalas. Mahi steps in, offering to pick them up, but Rahi snaps that she’ll do it. As Rahi grabs the bag, Mahi is pushed and falls. Mahi questions why Rahi pushed her. Rahi claims she was only grabbing the bag and didn’t mean to push her. They begin to argue. Mahi accuses Rahi of trying to take over Prem, saying she has two master’s degrees but only wants Prem. Rahi defends herself, saying that Prem works for her as a chef. Prem tries to stop them, but they continue to bicker. Mahi notices Anupama’s diary in Rahi’s hands and questions its presence. Rahi explains it was given to her by Anupama. They continue to argue and struggle over the diary. Prem pleads with them to stop. Mahi declares that she won’t let Rahi get away with her bossiness. Rahi accuses Mahi of being insecure, saying she’s just managing the business. The whole family gathers, with Ansh, Ishu, and others joining in. Ansh asks Rahi to calm down, and he tells Mahi that his friends are still at the house. Kinjal mentions that Anupama was just here hours ago, and now this fight is happening. Baa questions why they’re fighting. Prem insists they stop, urging Rahi to calm down. The friends leave because of the argument. Prem tells Rahi that guests are leaving.
Rahi threatens Mahi that if the diary gets torn, she’ll slap her. Baa steps in, trying to stop the fight, and Prem also tries to intervene. The tension escalates, and Rahi raises her hand to slap Mahi, but Mahi moves out of the way, causing Rahi to accidentally slap Baa. Everyone is shocked. Ansh demands to know what’s going on. Dolly asks how Rahi dared to slap her mother. Pakhi says her mom would never do something like that. Toshu and the others stand against Rahi. Rahi insists it wasn’t intentional and apologizes, even touching Baa’s feet. But Baa declares that until Anupama returns, she will not come back to this house. Rahi begs for forgiveness but cries as Baa leaves. A song plays in the background.
Everyone scolds Rahi. Prem watches her silently. Rahi leaves the house, and Prem follows her outside. He saves her from being hit by a bike. Rahi walks into the cloud kitchen, visibly upset. Janki behen says the food is ready and asks Rahi to inspect it before the delivery. Rahi asserts she’ll take care of it herself. Janki behen advises her not to be so stubborn, reminding her that there must be no mistakes.
Prem enters the kitchen, and Rahi confides that she never meant to slap Baa. She shares that her upbringing didn’t teach her values like that and that she won’t forget Baa’s words. She admits she was stressed due to the order, and Mahi’s argument only made things worse. She raised her hand in anger, but it wasn’t meant for Baa.
