The episode begins with Ranvijay arriving in Jhumri Patan. Mukhiya, Kailash, and the rest of the village men gather around. Mukhiya and Kailash confront Ranvijay, demanding to know if it is true that he remarried. Ranvijay admits that it is true. Mukhiya and Kailash threaten to kill him for breaking the village rules. Vaiju intervenes, stopping Mukhiya from attacking Ranvijay. She tells him to leave Ranvijay alone, saying he has betrayed them. Vaiju adds that no one has the right to harm him. Milind arrives and scolds Ranvijay, stating that he will arrest him. However, the Sarpanch says no one will arrest him, and they will punish him instead. Vaiju declares that from now on, Rana ji will only have one wife. Ranvijay asks in confusion what she means. Vaiju responds that she is severing all ties with him.
She takes off the mangalsutra and throws it into the fire. Ranvijay rushes to save it, but Vaiju tells him that she is not saving him. She says, “I break all ties with Rana ji, now he is no longer a criminal in your eyes.” The villagers disperse. Ranvijay attempts to make her wear the mangalsutra again, but she stops him, saying it’s over. He questions why she is deciding this alone, to which she replies, “It was always one-sided.” They argue, and she explains that she saved him only because he was Jaya’s husband. She says they will meet again when she becomes something on her own.
Sulekha worries that the family’s reputation will be ruined because of Ranvijay. Jaya enters, and Vasundara asks her to tell the truth, asking why they returned early from their honeymoon. Jaya responds that there was no fight between them and everything is fine. She adds that Ranvijay is her son, and when he returns, he can explain everything. Jaya leaves.
Vaiju walks away, and Ranvijay cries, saying that he had told Jaya that he belongs to her, but now, with her decision, it doesn’t matter anymore. He leaves in sorrow. Jaya, too, thinks of him and sheds tears. The song “Bedardeya” plays softly in the background. Vaiju reflects, saying that this time, she wants to end all her hopes. Ranvijay admits that he has lost all hope. Vaiju says she will now start a new chapter in her life.
