The episode starts with Megha teaching dance moves. A lady asks her about an alliance, and Megha thinks of Manoj. Her friend comments that her time seems to be running bad, but Megha reassures her that everything is fine, as she has her family and friends with her. Her friend applies lipstick to Megha, teasing that she might meet someone special at the wedding. Meanwhile, IAS Arjun Talwar arrives in Amritsar.
Everyone is joyful at Simran’s sangeet. Megha’s family arrives, and Goldie remarks that Megha enjoys teaching dance at other people’s weddings. The lady welcomes them and inquires about the alliance, to which Goldie lies. Surinder prompts Goldie to lie again, but Goldie retorts that they aren’t like others who always tell the truth. Jeetu asks her not to scold him. Goldie insists they should eat and leave. Arjun mentions his mission to protect city girls from a con artist who poses as a groom to ruin lives.
Manoj arrives at the sangeet, and Arjun describes him as a groom who has ruined 13 girls’ lives and looted their families. Manoj greets Surinder and Megha, and Goldie sarcastically asks if he consulted his mother before speaking to them. Manoj apologizes for his parents’ behavior, which Surinder accepts. Arjun continues, saying the fake groom knows exactly how to manipulate the girl’s family. Manoj praises Surinder for his progressive thinking and expresses his desire to marry Megha if she agrees. Surinder and the family smile.
Arjun emphasizes the need to catch the con artist to prevent another life from being ruined. Manoj suggests that both families should visit the Eiffel Tower and Vaishno Devi together, not alone, which makes Megha smile. Goldie congratulates them, and Manoj’s dad proposes a group selfie. They take the selfie, and Manoj gives Megha an Eiffel Tower keychain, signaling her to call him. She smiles and leaves.
Megha imagines Manoj bringing a baraat for her and dances with him. Jassi comments on their luck, saying they both will go to their in-laws’ houses and hugs Megha. Jassi’s mom then takes her away, leaving Megha feeling sad. Surinder comforts Megha, who thinks about Manoj and smiles before going to sleep. She hears a noise and rushes downstairs, worried about Jassi. Goldie tells her to go back to sleep, but Megha goes out to find Jassi. Jassi’s mom is crying, saying Jassi ran away. Megha finds Jassi hiding, who explains she was coming to see Megha with her favorite sweets but got scared and hid. Megha hugs Jassi, who is then forcibly taken away by her brother.
The neighbors taunt them, calling Jassi mad. Megha defends Jassi, explaining that she’s not mad but has had bad luck. She recalls how Bhalla aunty took care of her when she was six while her parents were busy. She takes Jassi back inside.
The next morning, Ranjeeta greets Arjun and reminisces about meeting him when his dad was posted there. She mentions that her daughter’s marriage is fixed, and Arjun congratulates her, asking for her daughter’s name. She proudly says Megha. Arjun then talks about the con groom case, explaining how the man poses as someone working abroad to swindle money from girls and their families. Ranjeeta asks which website he uses, and Arjun responds that it’s a matrimonial website. Worried, she asks if there is a picture of the man, and Arjun offers to show her.
