Jagriti 28th November 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kalikant arriving at the school with Jaggu, due to the pressure from the media. Bindi goes to Gita’s house and calls Jaggu. She mentions that she ran away from school and assumed she had come to meet Gita. Amol tells her that Jaggu hasn’t come here, and that Gita went to school to drop Jaggu off, leaving the two of them alone at home. Bindi says Gita went to school, and Amol then pushes her onto the sofa, trying to get closer. Bindi tells him that if Gita and Jaggu unite, their relationship will lose its meaning. Amol insists that she leave, saying that he also follows rules and doesn’t like force in love. He adds that when she comes to him willingly, he will fulfill his love and make her feel the fragrance of roses. Bindi quickly runs away, and Amol sits back on the sofa, laughing.
Kalikant tells everyone to remain calm. He acknowledges that both sides want justice. He asks the media to broadcast this historic decision everywhere, and announces that the Chitta girl will be admitted to the school. Akash, Jaggu, and others are happy, but the crowd protests against his decision. Kalikant explains that while the law must be followed, societal norms must also be respected. He declares that the Chitta girl will receive an education, but will be required to sit on the ground to study. The crowd praises Kalikant for his decision. Gita objects, insisting that Jaggu should be allowed to study alongside other children. Kalikant scolds her, questioning why she has become selfish and implying that the mere opportunity to study should be enough. Gita argues that this discrimination will persist and that they are burdened by an old system set by their ancestors.
Kalikant warns that Jaggu might lose this opportunity. Harish agrees, stating that Jaggu will sit on the ground and study. Gita still opposes, saying it is unjust. Bindi enters and agrees to accept the Sarkar’s decision. Jaggu tells her mother that it doesn’t matter where she sits, what matters is her education. She thanks Gita for her support, mentioning that her parents are behind her. Gita protests, but Jaggu insists that if she opposes the decision, it will only lead to more resistance. She says she doesn’t want to force anyone. Gita places her hand on Jaggu’s head. Jaggu tells Kalikant she accepts his decision. Kalikant, pleased, explains that he made this choice in consideration of society and says he wants all children to have an education.
He calls Gayatri to join him. Gayatri walks over to Kalikant. Kalikant then gives an interview to the media. Bindi proudly declares that her daughter will study in this school. Harish notices that Bindi is missing her earring. Bindi worries that Gita might find it, and hurries away. Jaggu approaches Akash and reassures him that she knows he was forced into this situation, asking him not to feel bad. Akash nods. Suraj pushes Jaggu down, scolding her for daring to touch Kalikant Thakur’s son. Akash questions Suraj’s actions. Sapna agrees with Suraj, saying he did the right thing. Gita attempts to go to Jaggu, but Sapna stops her, saying Jaggu is not her daughter. Harish helps Jaggu up, while Gita tells Sapna that this is poor manners and that they must stand by the right cause.
Kalikant calls Suraj to caution him, telling him not to act in such a way. Jaggu confronts Kalikant, asking if he pushed her because she touched Nanhe Sarkar or because she earned the right to study. She confidently tells him that she will study so well that she will reach the sky, and then even he won’t be able to push her. She walks into the school, leaving everyone looking on.
Kalikant tells the Principal that Chitta must be admitted to the school due to the public and media pressure. He instructs the Principal to make her life so difficult that she will give up on the idea of studying. Jaggu enters the classroom with Akash, Suraj, and Sapna. Suraj demands that Jaggu stop. Sapna questions how she could sit in their class when she doesn’t even know the ABCs. Akash wonders how she can be tested on her first day. The teacher insists on giving her a test. The Principal congratulates Harish, calling it a historic moment, but reminds him that she needs to pay a fee of 5000 Rs per month. Harish is shocked, wondering how he will come up with such a large sum. Jaggu agrees to take the test.
