Mishri 2nd September 2024 Written Update
Vaani demands that Raghav prove his love for her by marrying her. Raghav agrees, stating that he will marry her to demonstrate his commitment. Sulekha, shocked by his decision, questions if he has lost his mind. Vaani persists, insisting that Raghav should fill her hairline with vermillion and leave the past behind. Meanwhile, Mishri tells Kalpana that she doesn’t care if she stays in the house or not, reminding her that Raghav has already tied the nuptial chain around her neck, a truth that cannot be changed.
In retaliation, Kalpana throws sand on Mishri and blackens her face, declaring that Mishri doesn’t deserve vermillion but only disgrace. She then dumps garbage on Mishri, who breaks down in tears. Vaani and Raghav proceed with tying the sacred knot, with Vaani proclaiming that no one, not even Mishri, can undo their union. Kalpana mocks Mishri, telling her that today she will not receive pity, only humiliation, because that is her true place as a servant.
Mishri, however, stands her ground, warning Kalpana to watch her limits. Kalpana taunts her, asking what she plans to do about it. Mishri responds that she has been respecting her elders out of tradition, but she will not back down from claiming her rights. Kalpana then drags Mishri away, intent on humiliating her further. As Raghav hears Mishri’s cries, Vaani urges him to ignore Mishri and focus on their wedding.
Kalpana pushes Mishri in front of a crowd, accusing her of pretending to be her daughter’s sister while secretly trying to steal her sister’s husband. She incites the crowd to blacken Mishri’s face. Mishri defends herself, stating that she was married to Raghav before Vaani and pleads with the crowd not to listen to Kalpana. She reminds them that when she was in trouble, they did nothing to help her, so they have no right to humiliate her now.
Raghav intervenes by throwing water on Mishri to stop the crowd’s actions. He scolds them for mistreating her. Vaani, however, chastises Raghav for helping Mishri instead of focusing on their marriage. Raghav responds that as a human being, he cannot stand by and watch someone being treated unfairly. Vaani, still furious, tells Raghav that she won’t trust him until he marries her. Raghav then admits that everything Mishri said was true and explains the situation to Vaani. He clarifies that while Mishri is his responsibility, Vaani is his love, and he cannot abandon either of them.
Feeling betrayed, Vaani declares that she will forget both Raghav and Mishri, cutting all ties with them. Mishri runs after Vaani, desperately trying to stop her.
