Udne Ki Aasha 24th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Aaji asking Sayali about her mangalsutra and jewellery. She questions whether Sayali fought with Sachin or mortgaged her jewellery for Paresh’s sake. Sayali denies it. Aaji presses her, asking what’s going on, and Sayali finally admits that she gave the jewellery to Renu. Aaji asks why she did that. Sayali explains everything and breaks down, saying that Renu insulted her father, and she couldn’t stay silent, so she gave the jewellery to Renu. Aaji is furious and vows to teach Renu a lesson. Sayali tries to stop her. Aaji says Renu thinks she can do anything. She calls out to Sachin and confronts him. She scolds him for not saying anything to Renu. Sachin tries to explain, saying that Sayali handled the situation and gave Renu a fitting reply. Aaji asks if he didn’t say anything to her. Sachin responds that he promised to buy a new mangalsutra for Sayali. Aaji offers to give him the money, but Sayali insists that Sachin will buy it for her. Sachin says he will, adding that Sayali challenged Renu, and he will support her. Aaji reminds him to take care of Sayali because Renu will always treat her poorly, while the other two daughters-in-law will be treated well due to money. Sachin agrees, mentioning how Sayali ends up taking all their orders. Aaji asks Sayali why she does that, urging Sachin to treat her like a queen. Sachin jokingly agrees, calling her “Rajmata,” and Aaji laughs, telling them to stay happy.
Aaji later meets everyone. Renu asks what Aaji was talking about with Sachin and Sayali for so long, but Aaji tells her to mind her own business. Paresh asks everyone to take Aaji’s blessings. Aaji blesses Akash and Riya, giving them some money. She says it’s a custom, and they should keep it. Riya thanks her. Tejas asks Roshni to take blessings as well. Sachin jokes that Tejas is here for money. Tejas and Roshni take blessings, and Aaji gives them money too. She then asks Roshni to tell her father to meet them, to which Roshni agrees. Aaji tells Renu not to treat her sons and daughters-in-law differently and praises Sayali, making her smile. Renu reluctantly agrees. Aaji becomes emotional and asks Paresh to take care of himself. Paresh assures her, hugging her. Aaji leaves with Sachin. Renu glares at Sayali, vowing to make her pay for what she has done.
Later that night, Renu brings a glass of milk for Paresh. He jokes and accepts it. Roshni checks her phone, and Paresh asks about the parlor, wondering if someone will manage it while they are away in the village. Renu says the staff will handle it. Roshni expresses concern but agrees, and Renu mentions she’ll visit the parlor before they leave. Riya enters, wearing a short dress, and Paresh quickly turns his eyes away.
Sayali observes from a distance. Riya jokes that she’s killing mosquitoes, and Renu tells her to go to her room. Sayali offers to handle it, but Riya insists it’s fine. Tejas enters and notices Riya. Roshni tells him to go to his room, and he leaves. Renu and Sayali attempt to cover up Riya’s dress. Riya climbs onto the bed, and Renu warns her to get down, as she might fall. Roshni and Sayali both ask Riya to come down. Paresh turns away, uncomfortable. Renu takes Riya aside and questions what she wants, asking if she hasn’t received all her clothes. Riya says she has everything. Renu advises her to wear warmer clothes since it’s cold. Riya dismisses the concern, saying she’s comfortable and just wants to wear the dress. Roshni tries to explain that it won’t be comfortable, but Riya insists it’s fine. Renu also tries to explain that she shouldn’t wear short dresses with others in the house. Riya replies that it doesn’t matter because she wore such clothes at home, and her parents never said anything. She claims that it’s her home too, and since Uncle considers her his daughter, she should be able to wear whatever she wants. Renu acknowledges this but tries again to offer advice. Riya asserts that she can decide what to wear and doesn’t like anyone questioning her choices.
