Maati Se Bandhi Dor 18th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ragini bringing a saree for Vaiju. She says, “Wear this saree for the function tomorrow.” Vaiju replies, “No thanks, I want to bring Jaya home first.” Sulekha taunts her. Ragini asks her to stop. Vasundara scolds Vaiju as well. Ragini is surprised and asks, “What are you saying?” Sulekha says, “Jaya is troubled by Vaiju. We need to think about Jaya first.” She then asks Vaiju to leave the house, stay in a hostel, and apply sindoor as much as she wants. Vasundara tells Ragini to stay away. Ragini says, “It’s not Vaiju’s fault, I won’t let anyone treat her unfairly.” Rao Sahab enters and stops Sulekha. A man arrives and asks, “Is this Vaijanti’s house?” Sulekha replies, “No, it’s her sister’s in-law’s place.” The man says, “I’m from the education department. She is receiving an award tomorrow, and I have the invite for her and her family.” Vaiju responds, “Thank you, but I can’t come. My family is more important than any award, they need me here.” Ragini asks Rao Sahab to speak. He replies, “Vaiju will go tomorrow, thank you. She should keep her work and personal life separate. We will all go with her.” Jaya cries and says, “Ranvijay, you love Vaiju, she has everything in her life.” She adds, “How should I believe that you and Vaiju are together? I have only one way left now.” Ranvijay returns home. Ragini says, “Your interview went well.” He asks, “What are you doing outside?” She replies, “Vaiju is getting an award, we all received an invite.” He says, “I have a lot of work at the mill.” She asks, “How will Vaiju feel if you don’t come? I’m just asking because you are involved in her education and job.” He says, “I’m not needed there.” She says, “I know you want to be there.” He agrees.
Kaveri asks Jaya to come and have tea. The ladies arrive with sweets and flowers. They say, “This is for Vaiju, she has made us proud by topping the exams. Can we come to the function?” Kaveri replies, “The minister is coming, not everyone can attend. You can watch it on TV.” The ladies leave, disappointed. Jaya watches them go. Kaveri says, “I’ve made tea for you, come.”
Jaya says, “Ranvijay called, he said he will come to pick me up tomorrow, but I refused and told him to stay with Vaiju for the award ceremony.” Kaveri asks, “What are you saying?” Jaya responds, “Vaiju has faced many challenges, and she’s worked hard to get here. She left everyone behind.” She asks Kaveri to go and attend the function. She recalls her moments with Ranvijay and cries. Vaiju looks at Jaya’s picture and cries.
Vaiju says, “I will bring you back here.” Jaya cries, recalling Ranvijay and their moments together. Vaiju and her family arrive at the event. She says, “I’ll sit with my family.” Rao Sahab tells her, “We are sitting here. You go ahead.” Vaiju searches for Ranvijay. Jaya helps Kaveri get ready.
She tells Kaveri, “Don’t worry, today is a big day for Vaiju. Please go and celebrate with her, click many pictures.” She kisses Kaveri and says, “You’re the best sister, take care.” Kaveri asks, “Are you okay?” Jaya replies, “Yes, go and enjoy the function.” Kaveri leaves, and Jaya waves her goodbye, crying. Kaveri feels guilty. Ragini reassures Vaiju, saying, “Don’t worry.” Vaiju says, “I miss Ranvijay and Jaya here.” Kaveri enters and says, “Jaya insisted that I come to the function. She didn’t come herself.” Jaya shuts the door and cries, thinking of Ranvijay.
