Jagriti 17th November 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Ballu’s wife asking Jaggu to drink water. Jaggu takes the glass in her hand. Ganga wonders how to help Jagriti. Jaggu tries to add the water drop into the water brought by Ballu’s wife, but there is no water drop in it. She says she can’t drink this water. Ballu’s wife becomes angry and tells her to die. Jaggu thinks why Kaki got angry and wonders what to do now, where she will get Gangajal from. Just then, Akash comes in and says, “Here is the Gangajal.” Jaggu looks at him and asks, “Akash… how did you know I kept the Chhat vrat?” Akash asks her to relax. She explains that she is doing the puja for her mother. Akash says, “You just learned about your mother, and all this is happening now.” He adds that he knew she saved her mother from the blast. He hands her the Gangajal. Jaggu asks how he knows about her fast, and he explains that Gayatri was telling Kalikant about it. He overheard everything. Jaggu says, “If you know that everything becomes pure with it?” Akash says no, and shares that Ganga told him that if the food becomes impure, Jagriti can purify it with Gangajal. Akash says he will go and tell her. Jamuna enters and says she will take Nanhe Sarkar there. She mentions that Jaggu has gone through so much and is keeping the Chhati Maiyya fast. The flashback ends. Jaggu thanks Jamuna for teaching her to cook and says she regards her as her Guru. She asks for her blessings to complete the fast. Jamuna blesses her and says, “May all your wishes come true.” Akash gives her the Gangajal. Jaggu drinks it and says, “With Chhati Maiyya’s blessings, my fast begins.”
Sapna asks the nurse to check on her mother. The nurse says this is a miracle, and her mother is responding well to the treatment. Harish thinks that Jaggu’s fast is making a difference and wishes he could have told Gita that the daughter who saved her life at the cost of her own has been keeping the fast for her recovery. He wonders why Amol hasn’t come yet. Sapna calls Amol, who is sleeping with a woman. She wonders where her father is. Harish comments that her father is a cheap man.
Akash tells Jaggu to meet him at the Ganga Ghat and says they’ll meet there. Jaggu stops him, hands him a lantern, and says, “We will meet tomorrow. Jai Chhathi Maiyya.” Akash agrees.
The next morning, Harish wakes up to hear Avdesh Solanki and his wife Sujata asking Sapna why nobody informed them about Gita. He inquires about Amol’s whereabouts. He questions Sapna why she didn’t call them, to which she replies that she thought her father had told them, but Amol went last night, and she couldn’t reach him. The doctor tells Solanki that Gita’s life was saved by Chitta, father and daughter, or they don’t know what would have happened to her. Harish recalls everything and says, “You gave Gita’s responsibility to Amol, taking her away from me. Amol wants to kill her. He has forgotten the promise made to you, but I will keep the promise made to Gita.” The doctor explains that Gita is recovering quickly, as though some divine power is with her.
Jaggu arrives at the ghat to fetch Ganga water. Kachori asks if she has forgotten something. Jaggu says she has forgotten what the Kaki’s had said. They see Ganga and Akash arriving with Gayatri. Jaggu gets tense. Akash signals her to relax and thinks of an idea. He throws chewing gum on Gayatri’s saree and points it out. Gayatri asks who did this, and Akash explains that it must have been Suraj Bhaiyya who threw it in the car, and she must have sat on it. He offers to help her remove it using tape. Gayatri agrees and asks him to come.
Solanki comments that Chitta, father, and daughter saved Gita, while Amol didn’t even bother to inform them. He begins to suspect that Amol might have harmed Gita. Sujata urges him to be quiet and says he should not ruin their tapasya. Solanki expresses his gratitude to God that Chitta came in time to save Gita’s life and prays for him, asking God to fulfill all his wishes. Sujata asks where Amol is. Solanki says he will find out and question him. Harish says, “You should ask him the same way you questioned me. I will stay with my daughter, so she doesn’t face any issues with the fast.” Ganga continues to explain the do’s and don’ts of Chhati Maiyya’s fast to Jaggu. Gayatri tells Akash it’s good that the driver knew how to remove the chewing gum, or they would have been stuck there for a long time. Akash thinks of a way to stop them… Gayatri asks what he wants to stop. Akash claims he needs to pee and asks her to stand there as he’s scared. Gayatri agrees.
Ganga continues to tell Jaggu about the ingredients used in Chhath puja and says there’s so much security in the haveli that she couldn’t send it to her. Jaggu sees Gayatri and Akash coming and gets nervous. Gayatri tells her to cover her head with the pallu before fetching the water in the pot. Akash notices Jaggu and Kachori leaving. Jaggu whispers that if Badi Malkin sees them, they’ll be in trouble. She praises Chhoti Malkin for being so nice. Kachori disagrees. Jaggu wonders where they will get the ingredients and asks how she will arrange the money for it.
