Anupama 31st August 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with a shocking scene where Megha stabs Anupama in the stomach, leaving everyone in shock. Aadhya screams for her mother, and Anuj frantically shouts Anu’s name, rushing to hold her. As Anupama looks at Anuj and Aadhya, she manages a weak smile before closing her eyes. Viren arrives and restrains Megha, while Anuj desperately asks what happened to Anupama. Toshu quickly suggests taking Anupama to the hospital in a car since the ambulance might take too long. Anuj, filled with determination, lifts Anupama and starts walking, vowing not to let anything happen to her.
Meanwhile, Megha, in a delusional state, calls out to Aadhya, saying that Priya is leaving her and accuses Anupama of taking her away. She begs Viren to bring Priya back, but Viren, finally reaching his breaking point, shouts at Megha to stop. He reveals that he went along with her wishes and brought Aadhya home as Priya because he thought Megha couldn’t handle the pain of losing her daughter. He then confronts Megha, telling her that she’s not a mother but a criminal, unlike Anupama, who took a stab wound to save her daughter. He sternly warns her to pray for Anupama’s recovery because if anything happens to Anupama, she will lose him just like she lost Aadhya.
In the car, Aadhya pleads with Anupama to open her eyes, expressing her need for her mother and her regret for not loving her enough. Toshu anxiously drives while urging Anupama to stay conscious, and Anuj also reassures Anupama, telling her that he needs her. Baa and Babu ji, who are in an auto-rickshaw, are tearfully worried. Baa curses the woman who stabbed Anupama, while Babu ji breaks down, questioning why Kanha ji would let something like this happen to his daughter.
At the Ashram, Bala tries to console Babu ji, saying that Kanha ji will make everything right. However, Babu ji, overwhelmed with grief, yells that if Kanha ji were truly present, he wouldn’t have allowed this to happen to Anupama. He angrily vows never to take God’s name again if anything happens to his daughter.
At the hospital, Anuj, Toshu, and Aadhya rush Anupama in. The doctor informs them that this is a police case and instructs the nurse to prepare the operation theater. The doctor asks them to complete the legal formalities. Sagar arrives, worried, and Anuj silently prays for Anupama’s safety, hoping she will return to them unharmed.
As everyone anxiously waits, Kinjal, Titu, Pakhi, and others are distraught. Indra recalls how Anupama once saved her and breaks down. The doctor comes out after the operation and informs Anuj that Anupama is in a coma and on a ventilator, but her chances of survival are slim. Aadhya screams in denial, but it turns out to be a nightmare Anuj was having. He prays to God to save his Anu.
Back at home, Meenu calls Sagar for an update, and Sagar, overwhelmed with fear, says that nothing can be confirmed yet, and he is terrified. Meenu reassures herself that nothing bad will happen to Anupama. She ends the call and informs everyone that Anupama is still in surgery, and it’s uncertain how long the operation will take. Titu offers to take food for everyone, and Baa volunteers to cook, but Kinjal insists Baa stay with Babu ji while she handles the cooking. Pakhi, frustrated and scared, expresses her anger toward Megha, questioning Meenu if she knew about Megha’s violent tendencies. Meenu, feeling guilty, insists that she had never seen Megha behave this way before. Pakhi apologizes to Meenu, explaining that she is just scared for her mother. Titu remarks that it’s good Pakhi remembers Anupama is her mother, to which Pakhi tearfully replies that she is indeed her mother, and she’s worried about her.
Babu ji’s health begins to deteriorate as he worries about Anupama, and Baa becomes increasingly concerned for him. She decides to step away.
Aadhya, overwhelmed with fear and grief, starts having a panic attack. The doctor decides she needs an injection to calm her down. Meanwhile, Baa, in desperation, pours milk over Kanha ji’s idol, vowing to do so until Anupama recovers. Dimpy tries to get Babu ji to drink some juice, but he refuses until Anupama is safe. Meenu observes that pain has united everyone, and Kinjal agrees, noting that this unity is a testament to Anupama’s love.
Aadhya anxiously asks Anuj if something bad is going to happen to Anupama, wondering why the surgery is taking so long. The doctor emerges and explains that the surgery is ongoing, but Anupama’s condition is weak, and she has lost a lot of blood. The doctor warns that the survival chances are only one percent. Aadhya breaks down, regretting her past behavior toward Anupama. Baa continues to pray fervently, joined by Meenu and Kinjal.
The doctor hands Anuj a consent form to sign, explaining that the survival chances are slim. Toshu questions the doctor, but Anuj, with determination, says that Anupama will turn that one percent chance into a hundred percent because she’s a fighter. He signs the form, confident in Anupama’s strength. Suddenly, a nurse rushes out, announcing that Anupama’s condition is deteriorating. Anuj, Aadhya, Toshu, and Sagar are all shocked. The doctor races back into the operating room to save her. Anuj, filled with desperation, urges Anupama to keep fighting, telling her she can’t give up. The others join in, pleading with Anupama to hold on.
A specialist arrives and quickly enters the OT. Everyone waits with bated breath. The doctor eventually comes out and informs them that Anupama is still breathing, but her condition is critical, and they only have 15 minutes to save her. He admits that the chances are still just one percent unless a miracle happens.
Aadhya, devastated, says she can’t live without Anupama, who found her and brought her back. Anuj reassures her that nothing will happen to Anupama. Meanwhile, Anupama struggles to breathe in the operating room. Babu ji arrives with Meenu, and Aadhya runs to him, sobbing uncontrollably. Meenu asks where Anuj is going as he steps away. Aadhya, panicking, wonders why her father is leaving her. Toshu tries to comfort her, urging her to stay strong. Aadhya clings to him, terrified. Babu ji, feeling the weight of the situation, declares that he will not survive if anything happens to Anupama. Titu tries to reassure him, saying that Anupama will be fine.
