Bhagya Lakshmi 16th November 2024 Written Update
Rishi angrily removes his beard, and everyone else is stunned to recognize him. Rishi asks why he is here in disguise, and Karishma points out that he’s also wearing one. Aanchal then questions Rishi about his plan. Malishka tells her mother that someone tampered with her dupatta, as it didn’t seem normal. Kiran suggests that Balvinder might have been responsible, but Malishka counters that he is the one who saved her. Lakshmi recalls how Balvinder had rescued her at the farmhouse, leaving her wondering what’s going on. Kiran, though Malishka claims everything is fine, grows suspicious and thinks about taking her inside. Balvinder watches Malishka, and Rishi asks why he’s staring, to which Balvinder explains he was heading to the Halloween party at a neighbor’s house. Rishi asks why he came here then, and Balvinder replies that he just came to help them, before leaving. Rishi expresses disbelief, and Aanchal adds that every time Balvinder appears, it leads to trouble. Dadi warns Lakshmi to be cautious with the crackers, recalling what happened to Malishka. Rishi mentions that the crackers were igniting from inside Malishka’s dupatta. Dadi suggests they all go inside as it’s late, but Rishi reassures Lakshmi, telling her not to worry. Lakshmi, concerned for his safety, urges Rishi not to risk his life for her, but he responds that it’s his responsibility and he’s always done it. They both head inside.
Paru is enjoying chocolate when Shalu approaches her on the balcony. Paru hides it, but Shalu encourages her to eat. Shalu then asks if Paru knew something was wrong with the dupatta all along. Paru admits she suspected Pretty Aunty was planning something against her mother, much like how her classmate targets her, but she has Rohan’s support. Shalu asks why she thought that, and Paru explains it was because of what Pretty Aunty did before, causing her mother to fall. She believes Pretty Aunty was up to something bad again.
Kiran takes Malishka into the room and demands to know what she was planning with Lakshmi. Malishka angrily retorts, questioning if Kiran still cares about Lakshmi over her own daughter. Malishka goes to the bathroom while Kiran answers a call. Shalu tells Paru not to worry about her mother, as she’s there to protect her, but then asks where Rohan is. Paru explains he went to his friend’s Diwali party. When Shalu asks who allowed him to leave, Paru replies that Aayush gave permission. Shalu, puzzled, heads off to find him.
Juhi enters the room as Malishka emerges, expressing gratitude for Juhi’s help in the situation. Malishka insists she doesn’t want to tell anyone until she’s sure, and plans to inform Rishi first. Juhi advises her to be careful, especially with her pregnancy, and then notices Kiran standing there. Kiran angrily slaps Malishka.
Shalu confronts Aayush, asking if he was the one who allowed Rohan to go out with his friends, but Aayush denies it, claiming anyone who said so was lying. When Shalu mentions Paru, Aayush dismisses it, saying that Paru has been mischievous since her teeth fell out. Aayush later realizes his mistake and apologizes, admitting he gave Rohan permission. Shalu expresses concern, reminding him that Diwali night could be dangerous with all the firecrackers. Aayush apologizes again, but then wonders why Shalu isn’t saying anything. Shalu admits he has already apologized, so there’s nothing else to say. Aayush reflects on how he has learned the importance of putting ego aside, and Shalu agrees, saying some people cannot let go of it. Aayush asks who she’s referring to, and Shalu suspects that Malishka is behind it all. Aayush shares the same suspicion, pondering why Balvinder is always around Malishka, always there to rescue her, even after becoming a businessman. Shalu says she knows Malishka wouldn’t keep someone like Balvinder around, leaving them both uncertain.
Kiran tells Malishka she humiliated her in front of everyone, yet she listened to her. She reveals she even saw the pregnancy test result, but wonders why she listened. Malishka tries to explain, but Kiran insists that tonight was her chance to become the daughter-in-law of the house and have everything she wanted. She believes Malishka should tell Rishi, but Malishka refuses.
Rishi approaches Lakshmi, asking if she thinks he would just accept everything she says. Lakshmi responds that she knows he won’t listen, but still wants to talk to him. Rishi asks why she’s showing him attitude again. Lakshmi asks why he’s acting like this, to which Rishi admits he doesn’t know how to act and treats everyone the same. Lakshmi asks if he hasn’t heard what Kiran Aunty said about Malishka being pregnant. Rishi becomes furious.
Kiran asks Malishka why they can’t tell Rishi she’s pregnant with his child. Malishka explains that Rishi is not the father of the child.
Rishi asserts that she isn’t pregnant, and Lakshmi responds that she heard everything. Rishi questions why Lakshmi is still showing attitude, and Lakshmi remarks that it could be tomorrow that Malishka gets pregnant. Rishi asks if Lakshmi is speaking nonsense, as she knows who his true feelings are for. He insists she stop thinking such things and focus on their bond.
Kiran, still confused, questions if Malishka is sure Rishi isn’t the father, even after seeing the pregnancy test result. She keeps asking, but Malishka leaves in tears.
Rishi walks off, and Lakshmi approaches him, asking if he knows what’s really going on. Rishi questions her attitude, and Lakshmi responds, asking if he and Malishka don’t live in the same room. Rishi defends himself, telling her she can think whatever she wants, but she shouldn’t believe he’s so low to sleep with multiple women. Rishi says he’s hurt and thanks her for showing him the mirror, offering him a “gift” in the form of her thoughts. He leaves, and Lakshmi, emotional, wonders why she spoke to him this way.
