Megha Barsenge 16th November 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Shagun leaving. Megha senses something is wrong and wonders what she is supposed to find here. She spots an earring and exclaims, “It’s the same jhumka, but how did it end up here?” Megha approaches Shagun and says, “I’ve seen someone dancing in this house. Everyone thinks it’s an illusion, but it’s my truth. I’m afraid I’m the only one seeing this dancer.” She asks Shagun if she knows anything about the dancer. Talwar, Mandeep, and Sikandar watch in silence.
Megha urges Shagun to tell her, saying the dancer could harm anyone, and asks who it could be. Shagun denies any knowledge. Megha shows the earring and says, “We’ve been searching for this.” Sikandar comments that the maid had stolen it, but it’s good that Mandeep fired her. Megha presses Shagun, asking what she knows about the dancer. Navjot interrupts.
She scolds Megha, taunting her about Surinder. Megha defends him, saying he has nothing to do with it. Navjot questions Megha’s sudden change of heart, recalling how she was initially against marrying Arjun but agreed quickly for her father’s sake. Arjun arrives and stops Navjot. He asks, “What are you saying to Megha?” Megha responds, “It means there’s something I don’t know, right Arjun?” Arjun dismisses it as nonsense, insisting no one knows anything. Navjot says they will talk later and accuses Megha of disrespecting the family. She takes Shagun away. Talwar comments that Surinder must have tricked their son.
Navjot says she was always against the marriage, adding that Megha is clever. “Once she figures out who the dancer is, she’ll cause a lot of trouble.” Shagun returns the phone and Talwar slaps her. She cries. He remembers sending her to get the phone and regrets it. He says Sikandar doesn’t know the secret, but he’s managed things well. Navjot finds a red dress and suggests burning it. “Megha is sharp. She won’t stop. I hope she leaves once she learns that her father is suffering from cancer.” Arjun calls Megha to come. Megha stops him, asking, “What was Bua ji saying?” He insists it’s nothing. She shares her concerns about Yudhishthar’s half-truths, telling him, “I will find out the secret you’re hiding. Manoj lied to me all this time, and it was too late when I realized. I won’t make the same mistake again.” She leaves.
Everyone is concerned about Surinder. He reassures them not to worry, saying he’s fighting the disease and isn’t dying yet, but needs courage. Goldie expresses his support. Megha returns home and questions them, “Are you hiding something from me?” Ranjeeta denies it. Megha presses, “What’s being kept from me?” Arjun walks in. Surinder tells them not to tell Megha certain things and suggests she focus on her in-laws. Megha retorts, “You only say these things when you think I’ll get angry and leave. Do you think I’ll just walk away?” Surinder coughs, and Megha notices blood stains on the towels. She questions Ranjeeta about it. The family is visibly concerned for Surinder. Megha insists, “What’s happening with Dad?” She breaks down, pleading with Surinder to tell her. She sees the blood again. Surinder finally admits, “I have cancer.” Megha is left in shock.
