The episode begins with Devika asking Suman to add more chili to her chaat. Suman hesitates but adds more. Devika eats it and coughs. Suman offers her water. Devika comments that the louder the victory sounds, the deeper the defeat’s pain. She warns Suman not to fly too high, as this appreciation will soon fade. Suman says she thought that Devika… Devika interrupts, saying she truly hates her. Hema, Malini, and Bhumi overhear this. Teerth watches them from a distance. Devika declares that everyone is admiring her now, but soon they will see Suman’s true nature. She asks an employee to get water, and when Suman offers, Teerth stops her, saying his Bhabhi will never change. Kritika walks in, calling Devika a “flop Didi” and asking if it’s true that the uncle accepted Suman. Devika says she’s done so much for this namkeen business, even when his children did nothing, and now he agreed to Suman’s deal for some money. She says Chandrakant will pay for his betrayal.
Later, the cook comes and tells Chandrakant that the oil has run out, and they can’t make more namkeen. Chandrakant asks him to get more from the storeroom. The cook mentions that the order was tripled today, including Suman’s stall, and there’s no more oil. Suman steps in and offers two cans of oil, asking Chandrakant to return it tomorrow. Chandrakant smiles. Devika gets an idea to ruin both Suman and Chandrakant.
At the dining table, Suman serves special kheer to Papa ji and for her special partnership. Reeva says she loves her, as the food was so tasty. Suman encourages her to have more kheer and say it again. She notices Gitanjali looking upset. Teerth suggests that Suman add more kheer to Bhabhi’s bowl since she had too much chili today. Guru scolds him for speaking out of turn. Teerth insists he didn’t insult her, but Guru continues insulting Suman by calling her “Chaat Wali.” Teerth demands that Guru behave. Gitanjali asks them to be quiet, wondering what has happened to them. Chandrakant asks Teerth if he talks to his Bhabhi like this. Devika says it’s no big deal. Suman clarifies that Neta ji didn’t mean anything bad, he was simply trying to help Bhabhi because she had too much chili. She then asks Teerth to apologize, reminding him that Bhabhi is like a mother to him. Teerth apologizes. Suman says now everyone should enjoy the kheer. Teerth wonders about her plan, asking what she’s up to. Suman replies she needs to clean the kitchen. Teerth says he’ll join her there to talk. Kritika tells Devika that they are like a romantic film. Devika says their romance will soon end, checking the time. Kritika asks about her plan, and Devika asks her to wait and watch.
Suman wonders what Neta ji wants to talk about. Teerth arrives in the kitchen and says he wanted to talk for a while but wasn’t sure how to bring it up. Suman tells him to go ahead, and she’s listening. Teerth says he’s been meaning to tell her something for days but hasn’t known how to react, unsure if she would understand. He pauses, about to say something when they hear the police calling for Chandrakant Mittal. Chandrakant asks what the issue is. The Inspector says there is a complaint, and he needs to come to the station. Chandrakant asks what complaint and questions the timing. The Inspector responds, saying they are the police, not delivery people. He informs him that 15 people became ill after eating namkeen from his shop, and two of them have died. Devika tells Kritika that this will cause trouble. Chandrakant argues that he’s been running the business for 30 years with hard work and no one has ever raised an issue, but now they’re blaming him. He tries to get the Inspector to leave. Devika steps in, saying no one will arrest Papa ji, and if anyone needs to go to jail, it’s her. She claims to be the Mittal Namkeen owner, saying she’ll take responsibility and handle the situation.
Chandrakant tells Devika not to, but she insists, saying it’s her duty to protect her father. Kritika is shocked, and Devika boldly tells the Inspector to come with her. She says Papa ji made her the major share partner, and it’s time to fulfill her responsibilities. Gitanjali urges Chandrakant to do something. The Inspector is about to arrest Devika when Suman steps in, saying that Devika can’t be arrested after 7 pm without a lady constable. She points out that there is no lady constable with them. The Inspector responds, surprised at her knowledge of the law, but Suman stands firm, telling him they can’t arrest her without one. She insists he come back in the morning. Devika smirks, thinking whatever happens, she’s set the perfect trap.
