Isha claims that it was her mistake and not the car driver’s fault as she was walking on the wrong side of the road. Savi tells her to stop lying and to tell the truth to the inspector. The inspector advises Savi not to pressure Isha and proceeds to get her signature on the statement. Savi then questions Isha about why she is trying to protect Jigar. Isha asks her to bring her medicines. Savi wonders why Isha changed her statement, thinking Rajat would be upset if he finds out. She discovers Bhagyashree’s asthma inhaler in Isha’s room and asks why it’s there. She accuses Isha of changing her statement to protect Jigar at Bhagyashree’s request.
Isha responds that she’s doing it because she, too, is a mother like Bhagyashree, and recalls Bhagyashree pleading with her to spare Jigar for Tara and Shakti’s sake. Savi shares this with Rajat. Rajat confronts Bhagyashree and Isha, furious that they are trying to protect Jigar. Bhagyashree insists they must spare him for Tara and Shakti’s sake. Rajat argues that Jigar never considered Tara and Shakti when he hurt others, so why should they consider him. Isha explains that she understands Bhagyashree’s feelings and believes they shouldn’t punish Jigar when nothing serious happened to her. Rajat retorts that they should not wait until something more serious happens.
Isha, recalling her time as a teacher, explains that she understands how people can change after committing a crime and reform themselves. Rajat counters that Jigar won’t change, pointing out how he enlisted Arsh’s help after getting out of jail. He insists that they must decide whether to punish the monster or set him free. Bhagyashree agrees, saying Jigar must be punished for Tara and Shakti’s sake. She urges Isha to tell the truth to the police and have Jigar arrested. Isha asks Rajat to call the inspector and record her changed statement.
Ashika waits for Rajat, upset that he forgot today’s date. Arsh approaches her and suggests she attend a party with him, where Rajat and Savi would also be present. Rajat enters the scene, and Ashika thinks to herself that she knew he would show up. Rajat calls the inspector and tells him he’s there to get Jigar arrested for causing Isha’s accident. Jigar responds by calling it nonsense. The inspector mentions that there is evidence showing he was involved in Isha’s accident with a black SUV. Jigar denies owning a car. Rajat retorts that Jigar can’t even afford a bicycle and that it’s Arsh’s car he was driving. Arsh admits it might be his car, but insists Jigar wasn’t the one driving it. He presents a sale deed showing that he sold his black SUV the day before the accident.
Rajat dismisses this as nonsense, accusing them both of lying. He suggests that Jigar attacked him from behind, and Arsh will go to any length to harm him and his family. The inspector, after considering the new evidence, says he cannot arrest Jigar. He tells Arsh and Jigar not to leave Mumbai until the case is resolved. Arsh expresses concern for Isha. Jigar taunts Rajat, asking if he’s still not satisfied. Rajat responds with a sharp retort. Ashika, watching from a distance, thinks to herself that Rajat forgot such an important date and is focused on getting justice for his mother-in-law, wondering what magic Savi has worked on him.
Rajat returns home frustrated and updates Savi about the situation. He gets a repeated call from Umesh. Savi mentions that Umesh’s wife also called and invited them to a party, suggesting he should go. Rajat agrees but says she should accompany him as his wife. He asks her to visit the parlour and get ready for the party.
