The episode begins with Prem, Ansh, Ishani, Mahi, and Aadhya arriving at the party. Ansh comments on how impressive the party looks, to which Mahi adds that until now, they’ve only experienced the samosa party. Ishani expresses her excitement, saying it looks amazing, while Pari agrees, calling it so cool. Mahi takes Aadhya’s hand as they approach the entrance. However, the guard stops them, asking to scan their invites. Prem, realizing they don’t have one, assures everyone to relax, mentioning that Raghav, his friend, is already inside. Raghav steps out and vouches for them as his special guests, allowing them entry. Aadhya jokes about Prem showing off. Meanwhile, Baa addresses Toshu, Pakhi, Kinjal, and Dolly, questioning whether their phones are like life partners since they’re so glued to them. Toshu defends himself, saying just one minute more. Dolly complains about trying to reach Meenu, who hasn’t answered her calls, wishing she could at least speak today.

Anupama enters with coffee, prompting Baa to question the need for coffee on a festival day. Anupama explains that they should enjoy coffee on Diwali since they drink tea daily. Baa chastises her for sending the kids out and comments on their attachment to their phones. She expresses her concerns about celebrating Diwali without them. Anupama suggests they might be sad at home and promises to call them soon. She encourages Baa to sit down and witness her magic, then switches off the Wi-Fi. When the kids notice the Wi-Fi is gone, Anupama calls Prem, who informs her of the call from home. Anupama overhears bhajans playing nearby and asks him to call back once the bhajan ends. Prem reassures her that he’ll take care of everyone. The guard humorously mentions Murphy’s law, to which Prem responds with optimism about the night ahead. Anupama then rings a spoon against a glass to gather everyone. Toshu and the others come running, noticing the beautifully set dinner table. Anupama explains that she has arranged a special dinner with candles lit, and they wish each other a happy Diwali.

The host encourages everyone to light the phuljadi. Aadhya hesitates, claiming she’s not interested, but Prem teases her about being scared. She retorts that she will prove him wrong, and they all engage in lighting the phuljadi together. Prem ultimately wins. Ishani approaches a cool boy at the party, claiming she is also an influencer. He responds coolly and moves on, prompting Ansh to intervene, urging her to come back. Ishani insists on filming a video with him, and she goes after him. Prem advises Ansh to be more of a brother than a bodyguard. Ansh counters that he worries because he knows the family dynamics. Prem responds with empathy, suggesting that those without family understand its value more. Anupama proudly states that she has made a meal catering to everyone’s preferences, emphasizing the joy of eating together after so long. Toshu questions why it took so long for them to be together, while Pakhi remarks on Anupama’s previous absence from their lives. Baa notes that Anupama seemed preoccupied with a girl. Pakhi reminds everyone that although their daughter is not with them, they still have each other. Anupama responds, likening her love for her children to how Dolly cares for Meenu and how Baa cares for her son. She insists they all share a deep bond. As they prepare to eat, Baa expresses gratitude that the kids are together. Anupama reiterates their love for one another and highlights how well Mahi and Ansh have adapted despite their circumstances.

As the kids take selfies, Aadhya reflects on Anuj and Anupama, feeling emotional. She recalls a past picture with them and takes a photo while holding her locket with Anuj’s picture. Meanwhile, Prem notices her distress and captures a selfie with her to lift her spirits.

Anupama presents gifts to all her family members, and as they unwrap them, Toshu expresses disappointment over a handkerchief after spending 10 lakhs on Rahi. Kinjal remarks that Anupama’s love and money seem directed only towards her daughter. Pakhi accuses Anupama of favoring Prem over them. Anupama counters that it’s the thought behind a gift that counts, explaining that she stayed up all night to make these presents. Dolly criticizes her for giving the special gifts to Aadhya instead of to her own children. Pakhi expresses frustration that Anupama never checks in on her. Baa chastises Anupama for divorcing Vanraj, implying that it led to the family’s current strife.

Aadhya then labels Prem as self-absorbed, leading him to question what’s wrong with appreciating oneself. She challenges him to bring life to the party. As everyone stands up, Anupama interjects, saying that Diwali dinner isn’t over. She shares her disappointment over the mood soured by their quarrels, emphasizing that she intended to create a joyful atmosphere. She recalls how they often argue and questions the purpose behind their fighting, asking why they didn’t reach out to her as she had done for them. Anupama affirms her love for all her children and addresses how they once claimed she wasn’t their mother, reminding them that she never severed her ties with them.
