Mera Balam Thanedaar 5th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sampoorna accidentally dropping the aarti plate. She tells Bulbul to move aside and picks up the diya. Bulbul insists that it is her diya of hope. Veer pretends to wake up and asks the girls what sweet they fed him, remarking on how tasty it was and why he slept so much. Sampoorna places the diya back and inquires if he is alright. Veer responds that he is fine, then notices Bulbul and affectionately calls her his “habibi baby.” He thanks Sampoorna for bringing Bulbul to him and gifts her a gold ring. He thinks to himself that once the loan is approved, he will take Bulbul and the others away from there. Vishesh confronts Drishti, reminding her that her brother-in-law just died, her sister is missing, and Varnika is unaccounted for, questioning her about lighting the diyas. Drishti retorts that she doesn’t care if Veer and Bulbul are alive or dead and insists on lighting five extra diyas today. She brushes past him and goes inside. Meanwhile, Vayu and Sulakshana are hiding behind a door before stepping out. Drishti wonders if someone is following her.
Vayu receives a message from the manager and shares the news of the loan approval with Sulakshana and Vishesh. Sulakshana instructs him to inform Vardhan. Vayu calls Vardhan to relay the loan approval news. Vardhan is surprised that the manager approved it in just one day and decides to tell Veer. Vayu suggests celebrating Diwali and enjoying sweets, which Sulakshana encourages by offering him some. Drishti observes their happiness and suspects they are up to something significant. Veer informs Sampoorna that the dollars are arranged, to which she responds with excitement, wishing him a happy Diwali. Veer reflects on his conversation with Vardhan about gathering evidence against Sampoorna to give to the police. Sampoorna tells Veer that he will receive all the girls. She instructs Bulbul to feed sweets to “sheikh saab.” Bulbul pretends to refuse but approaches Veer to make him taste the sweets. Veer asks for a special request, and Sampoorna agrees.
Drishti senses something is amiss when she notices a soap smell coming from the keys and opens the locker to find the house papers missing. She wonders why they suddenly need the papers and contacts the bank to speak with the manager. Veer informs the girls that he intends to take them outside, mentioning that Sampoorna is bringing in boxes. He suggests they hide in them. Priya asks how that will work, and Bulbul explains that they need to manifest their desires and that good things will happen. She believes they can get justice for the girls by imprisoning their captors.
Drishti speaks to Ratan, expressing her conviction that Veer is alive and scheming with Bulbul. Ratan counters that he has seen Veer’s dead body. Drishti insists that if Veer were dead, her mother-in-law would have already succumbed to grief, yet she is still smiling. Ratan says he will look for Veer and mentions that a sheikh has brought Bulbul. Drishti tells him that Bulbul is resilient and informs him of the large loan they’ve taken. Bulbul advises everyone to remain vigilant. Veer reveals that they are dealing with a significant human trafficking operation and asks Bulbul if she trusts him. She replies affirmatively, and he assures her he won’t let anything bad happen.
Sampoorna expresses disbelief about the magnitude of the problem, stating she was familiar with all the Sheikhs except Sheikh Sulaiman. Ratan mentions that he has looked into it and will find out more information. After receiving a message, he shows it to Sampoorna. When Bulbul stumbles, Veer catches her, drawing the attention of Sampoorna and Ratan. Sampoorna checks her mobile and identifies the photo as Sheikh Sulaiman. Veer remembers telling Bulbul about creating a fake profile online. She questions why he is so attached to her, and Veer admits that he likes her. Sampoorna announces that Bulbul will leave with Sheikh the next day, indicating to Ratan that after they receive the money, she will demand even more or else sell Bulbul to someone else.
Veer reveals that he has arranged $40,000. Sampoorna’s men bring in the trunks filled with Indian clothes, claiming they are for the girls to wear as brides. She insists that all the girls should prepare to leave with him. Bulbul mocks her, and Sampoorna instructs her to get ready. Veer tells Bulbul she looks beautiful as his bride. Bulbul gestures for him to play along and accidentally drops a tray on the ground. Veer pretends to ask for a kiss, and Bulbul playfully runs away. Sampoorna and Ratan try to catch her, but Bulbul and Veer create a diversion while the girls hide in the trunks as planned. Bulbul declines to kiss Veer and continues to run, prompting Sampoorna to express her frustration. They head to the trunk room, where Veer questions who placed the boxes there, insisting they need to be moved outside as he has trouble catching her. Ratan tells his men to take the trunks outside. While Bulbul and Veer continue their playful banter, Vardhan and Pakhiya assist the girls out of the trunks. Veer remains hopeful about their plan. Sampoorna demands that Bulbul stop the theatrics and order her inside. Bulbul insists she will leave and goes to hide in a trunk. Just as she is about to close the lid, she hears a girl crying and discovers Priya standing there, upset. She calls out to her, “Priya.”
