Mangal Lakshmi 4th November 2024 Written Episode Update
Lakshmi says Didi will stay with me. Shanti warns her not to provoke her. Mangal tells them to stop it. She states, “I won’t go with you, Mummy, and I won’t go with you either, Lakshmi. I don’t want to be a burden on anyone.” Lakshmi reassures her, saying, “I have full faith in you. I will always be here for you.” Mangal replies, “I need some rest,” and then she leaves.
Jiya stops Karthik and urges him to let go of the past. He responds, “Really? I want nothing to do with you.” She insists, “This is just work. You are a professional. Don’t make a big deal out of the past. I won’t cancel this deal. I don’t care about what happened before; it’s gone. Are you stuck in the past?” He replies, “No, I’ve moved on and I’m very happy in my life. I’ll handle this.”
Mangal plays with Akshar when she receives a call from Ishana’s school. They inform her there’s no fee for Akshar and Ishana. She learns that Adit pays on the first day of the month, and he hasn’t deposited the fee. Mangal is shocked. “How can Adit do this? I will have to pay the fees myself.” Soumya says, “Adit asked me to submit it, but I won’t.” Mangal realizes she has to pay. She needs to learn how to earn money. Mangal calls the number on the pamphlet, and they inform her they only need a man. She asks, “How does it matter?” The person replies, “You can do it. You’ll get 5k for one event.” Kusum overhears and asks, “What are you doing, Mangal?” Mangal replies, “Why are you wearing this saree?” She says she has given away all the sarees Adit gave her. Kusum asserts, “You’re still my daughter. Do you consider me your mom?” Mangal replies, “Yes.” Kusum reassures her, “Your dad’s pension can support all of us; I won’t let you suffer.” Mangal responds, “I don’t want to lose my self-respect anymore. I have to earn. I can’t tell you Adit didn’t even pay the fees; you will be upset. I can’t take Papa’s pension; he has his own expenses. My children will rely on me.”
Jiya calls Gayatri to inform her that Karthik accepted the deal. She advises her to do whatever it takes to get rid of that issue. Lakshmi arrives and asks, “Which girl?” Jiya replies, “I was talking about my friend’s son. He chose a very ordinary girl.” Lakshmi remarks, “People shouldn’t enter marriages without love.” Gayatri reassures her, “Don’t worry about Mangal. She’s very strong.” Lakshmi offers her coffee.
Soumya is cooking when Mangal complains, “It’s so oily. No one eats that here.” Soumya responds, “That’s all I can make. I earn; I’m not a cook like you.” Soumya adds, “Today Kusum will see the food and say that I won’t cook anymore.” Mangal states, “You and Adit eat this food.” Soumya insists, “My parents will eat the healthy food I prepared for them.” Soumya serves Adit, who remarks, “Why is it so spicy?” He coughs badly and asks Mangal for food. She replies, “I made it for my parents only.” Sudesh comments, “She’s such a caring daughter.” They say the food is great, but Adit complains, “No coffee, no food. Soumya, can you make something edible?” She offers to order food, but he says, “I can’t eat that food every day.” Kusum comments, “Soumya can eat all of this.”
Lakshmi gives Karthik a cake and congratulates him on his new deal. He recalls his meeting with Jiya. She asks if everything is okay, and Karthik hugs her, saying, “I missed you a lot today.” She asks what’s wrong, and he admits, “I don’t feel like going through with this deal.” She encourages him, saying, “But you’ve already signed it. You were so excited. You have to be professional. Don’t worry about anything. Tell me how the cake is.” He responds, “You make me believe everything will be fine.”
Mangal gets ready to leave, and Soumya notices her departure. She wonders where Mangal is going and decides to follow her.
