The episode begins with Mahua arguing with Chandan about Meghla. She states that Adrija is right; he will always support Meghla, even if she is wrong. She tells him to get ready to go to Ranbir’s house, as she will retrieve the necklace. He agrees, saying he will go and return it. She leaves, and Meghla then expresses that she understands she may have made a mistake by taking Ranbir’s call, but she told him he was wrong about Adrija. Chandan responds that he feels hurt when someone scolds her and advises her not to make such mistakes again.
Chandan arrives at the Bajwa house and mentions he is running late for university; he is there to return the necklace. Kamal insists that he sit for a moment. As Chandan takes a seat, Balveer apologizes for their previous encounter. Meher brings up their discussion with Ranbir about Adrija, but he replies that they cannot force someone into marriage. Chandan suggests that they should not pressure Ranbir. Meher counters that Ranbir has strong feelings for Meghla and questions if they can discuss it further. Chandan insists that it is not feasible since Ranbir and Meghla do not know each other well; he believes Meghla will not be upset since she wasn’t involved in Ranbir’s feelings. Chandan agrees to eat, giving the necklace to Meher for her to check. Kamal assures him they are not bad people who would take back a gift. Balveer adds that Adrija is like a daughter to them, suggesting he take it as a gift for her good results. Kamal agrees, while Zoravar claims they offer such things to their needy relatives. Chandan insists he cannot accept it, feeling it would be inappropriate since no relationship has formed. Harman calls Ranbir, informing him that Chandan is there to return the necklace. Ranbir asks what he should do, and Harman advises him to speak with Chandan. Ranbir states he cannot come home right now but agrees to call Chandan to arrange a meeting.
