Megha Barsenge 4th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Talwar warmly welcoming Megha and her family. Surinder and Ranjeeta compliment the beautiful decorations. Navjot advises Ranjeeta not to salute every senior person. Kripal comments on the spaciousness of the house, questioning if they appear too simple. Arjun tells him not to think that way. Sikandar arrives and notices Riya, prompting Arjun to signal him to approach. Sikandar expresses his intention to befriend them and asks Kripal for a hug, declaring him his younger brother now. He embraces Kripal and then departs. Goldie asks for the location of the washroom, and Arjun tells someone to guide him. Riya volunteers to go with Goldie. Arjun reminisces with Megha about the day she first came to the house, admitting he never expected she would become his. He presents her with a pair of earrings, but Megha responds that she accepted the alliance for her father’s sake, recalling how her mother saluted Arjun’s father. She accuses him of using his influence to win her over, stating that she didn’t agree to the marriage willingly. She hands back the earrings and walks away.
Arjun receives a phone call, stating that Megha claims she didn’t consent to the marriage voluntarily, but he reassures the caller that he is managing the situation. Sikandar then presents the engagement rings, and Megha and Arjun wear them, prompting applause from the guests. Megha is lost in thought about Manoj and her troubled past. They seek blessings from everyone present. Navjot announces a surprise: Goldie will perform a dance for them. Goldie insists they all join in, while Riya suggests both Buas should dance. Navjot declines, noting that Goldie is accustomed to dancing at weddings, and they don’t know how. Goldie insists on teaching them, but Ranjeeta dismisses the idea. Arjun advises Goldie against dancing, but Goldie insists he will dance for his family, celebrating Megha’s special day. Navjot signals to Sikandar, and Goldie begins to dance. As the song “Beedi Jale Le” plays, Goldie appears awkward, and Arjun and the others feel uncomfortable. Talwar comments that this is unnecessary and worries about public ridicule. Navjot and Sikandar laugh. Megha approaches the DJ station to stop the music, explaining that her Bua wasn’t prepared for the song but danced for her happiness. She thanks her for teaching her to dance freely, and then suggests that she and Bua will dance to the song as Navjot wishes. Arjun smiles at her determination.
Megha turns to Goldie and declares they will showcase their talent. They dance together to the same song, earning applause from everyone. Navjot signals to Sikandar, while Shagun appears anxious. Arjun watches Megha joyfully dancing. Suddenly, the lights go out, and Megha becomes frightened, imagining Manoj’s presence. She screams, insisting to Arjun that Manoj is there and wants to harm her. Concern fills the room as Arjun reassures her that it’s just him. Megha insists she’s telling the truth, and Arjun attempts to calm her. He instructs someone to restore the lights and encourages Megha to relax and drink some water. Navjot smiles at the unfolding scene. Once the lights return, Megha expresses her gratitude to Arjun. Goldie suggests it’s time to leave, and Ranjeeta agrees, saying she will inform Talwar and Shagun. As they prepare to leave, Shagun suddenly screams and rushes downstairs, leaving Arjun in shock.
