Anjali, witnessing his distress, breaks down in tears and tries to soothe him. Yuvraj’s friend observes the situation and informs Yuvraj, who feels a sense of satisfaction, remarking that advocate Anjali Awasthi has put herself in a precarious situation and will face significant trouble.
Anjali takes Ganesh back to her home and is taken aback to see her scooter parked outside. She questions her friends about the supposed sale of her scooter, and they explain that Aman had helped her financially and prevented its sale. Aman then enters with Diwali gifts for Anjali, wishing her a happy Diwali. Anjali is deeply touched by his thoughtful gesture and tears of joy fill her eyes. Aman lifts her spirits before departing.
As Anjali weeps for Ganesh’s plight, she recalls the Rajputs’ humiliation of Sapna. Meanwhile, Inspector Pankaj is seen roughing up a thief at his police station. He calls Anjali to confront her about withdrawing from Padma’s case and asks whether she has taken any action to evict Padma from her home. Anjali reveals that Padma still resides with her, sharing how Ginni and her in-laws insulted her mother, who endured nine months and ten days to give birth, by throwing 15,000 rupees at her and ordering her to work as a maid.
Pankaj is taken aback by her account. Anjali continues, recounting how her father was publicly humiliated by Chandrabhan and Yuvraj, who forced him to act like a deity. When Pankaj inquires if she has any evidence, Anjali replies that the entire basti witnessed it, but they are unwilling to testify. She urges Ganesh to disclose the names of those who disgraced her. However, Ganesh has another nervous breakdown and cannot name them. Anjali tells Pankaj that while she couldn’t gather evidence, she is determined to protect her father. Padma then returns with food from a bhandhara and offers it to Anjali.
