Malishka asks Sonal if she saw how Lakshmi spoke to her, and Sonal tells Malishka to calm down. Malishka retorts that she won’t calm down anymore and walks away.
Dadi, sitting in her chair, reflects on Neelam’s words, noting that she has obeyed them because she is older, but now enough is enough. Lakshmi knocks on the door seeking permission, and Dadi asks if she is the Lakshmi who is part of the household, stating that Lakshmi shouldn’t ask for permission. Lakshmi sits in front of Dadi, who advises her to always enter a room with her rightful presence. Lakshmi asks if Dadi is alright, and Dadi replies that nothing is wrong with her.
Malishka storms away while Sonal tries to stop her, but Malishka insists that she will see who supports Lakshmi today. Sonal, following her, explains that Rishi will support and save Lakshmi. Malishka, now sitting on the couch, questions why Rishi always backs Lakshmi. Sonal expresses concern, suggesting that Malishka’s actions may create more problems for herself. Malishka then asks if she should accept defeat. Sonal encourages Malishka to think rationally and seek a solution. Malishka, seeking a fresh idea, asks Sonal for suggestions but not a lecture. Suddenly, Malishka realizes something.
Lakshmi shares her feelings with Dadi, expressing that she feels a strong support from her, despite never having left her side. She refers to Dadi as a significant Vardhan, to which Dadi replies that Lakshmi herself is the true Vardhan for the house. Dadi assures Lakshmi that if everyone recognized the truth of her heart, they would understand. Lakshmi expresses her desire for everyone to remain happy as a family, and Dadi shares that her happiness is tied to Lakshmi’s joy. Dadi mentions that she prays for Bhagwan to eliminate all of Lakshmi’s challenges and grant her the rightful place she deserves, promising to fight with Bhagwan if needed. Lakshmi asks about Dadi’s feelings, and Dadi reassures her that if her family is happy, she is happy too.
Sonal points out that this is why she has remained quiet about Malishka, acknowledging that Malishka is capable enough. She inquires about Malishka’s plan, but Malishka insists they need to assess the preparations. Sonal, confused, asks what Malishka is thinking, but Malishka brushes her off, stating she is searching for a permanent solution to the problems. Sonal questions whether Malishka will find it here, but Malishka believes solutions often come from unexpected places. She stumbles over a carpet and reflects on how high the stakes are when Sonal, noticing Malishka’s demeanor, asks what she is contemplating. Malishka replies that she just needs to wait and see what happens when people arrive.
Avinash enters the room where Karishma is getting ready and compliments her beauty. However, she snaps at him for being late. Avinash insists she missed him, but Karishma asserts she did not. He tries to compliment her again, but she ignores him and leaves, asking him not to be late. Avinash remarks that Karishma is still concerned about others’ opinions, suggesting they are merely products of society.
In the kitchen, Lakshmi approaches Mukesh, asking for his help while she prepares dinner. Mukesh insists he doesn’t need assistance, but Lakshmi insists they can work together efficiently. Rishi enters the kitchen, questioning why Lakshmi is cooking when she is supposed to rest. Lakshmi explains she is cooking for the women. Rishi insists she should come with him, but she declines, expressing her concern for everyone. Rishi playfully claims she has a “manufacturing defect,” to which Lakshmi asks if he knows her since childhood, but Rishi clarifies he meant since they met. Rishi decides to help her cook, even as she argues it will cause delays. Mukesh comments that they look good together, and Rishi sends him away. Lakshmi gazes out the window, announcing that the moon has been sighted, and Rishi jokes that he can see his moon in front of him. Lakshmi becomes slightly flustered as Rishi sits on the shelf, and she notes that he is very stubborn. They both leave together, with Rishi confident that their hotel serves excellent food.
The entire Oberoi family gathers on the roof, where Dadi is excited but notes they cannot see the moon hidden behind the clouds. Anoushka expresses her fatigue, and Dadi encourages everyone to smile, but Karishma questions how anyone can remain calm in such a situation. Dadi believes one should be happy from the heart, disregarding external circumstances. Karishma wonders if her mother thinks she can understand anything. Anoushka adds that things will improve once they see the moon. Aanchal explains that women keep the Varth all day, and these last moments are particularly challenging. Dadi lightheartedly jokes with her. Meanwhile, Malishka anxiously wonders why they cannot see the moon, knowing that only then would Lakshmi’s life be disrupted.
